BE A FARMER FOR ONE DAY

Initiative of Keshav Srushti Gram Vikas Yojana
We got an opportunity to be a farmer for a dayand while going through a vedio invitation,
All the side effects of the nasty pollution that envelops the city rolled infront of me. It urged me to plant trees for the long-term solution.
Trees do not only negate air pollution but also have the superpower of storing carbon dioxide. Trees are our closest relatives who selflessly care about us. What they exhale we inhale, what we exhale, they inhale. They keep our lives pollution-free.
The day in Tilase village was unforgettable .It was pouring heavily but my team of 15 teachers were so excited to be part of this drive .We all were touched by the warm welcome of the farmers. We all had a round of slogans to gear up ourselves .Wearing raincoats and having plants in our hands we divided ourselves in small groups and went in different fields which were flooded with water in many places. We planted trees like Amla,Sitaphal,Peru,Bamboo,Nimbu,Drumstick etc.
The interaction with farmer's family was a humble experience and they serve us very delicious lunch which was icing on the cake.
